Grim Squadron, the fleet has waited too long at the rendezvous coordinates for a pair of our best special operatives. They've been surveying some local Imperial Installations. We've been called up by General Taesh to scramble some fighter cover in case they're in trouble. Our mission is to see our team safely home. Meet on the flight deck in ten minutes with your gear.

After scrambling our fighters and full throttling on the rebel operative’s approach vector, we arrive at the boundary of the the Argus system’s Oort cloud. The operatives are under attack and hot pursuit by several TIE Fighters. They must have stumbled upon something good in the Argus Solar System. They appear to have lost weapons and have sustained damage to their sensor array. Our boys are going in, weapons hot.
The operatives are able to stay slightly ahead of the pursuing fighters. We zip past and begin to engage the pursuers. Our opening joust is unable to break up their formation and the TIEs continue to bear down on the operative’s ship.

An Interceptor emerges from behind a rock and catches JEB by surprise. This one bears the markings of an Ace, and is able to evade many of our shots due to some sort of stealth technology. JEB’s final return fire puts a hole in the stealth generator, and we’re able to target him easier.
Scorch was in a position to chase the wolfpack of TIE Fighters who are hot on the tail of our Operatives. He is able to take several unmolested shots on ‘Eyeballs; who line up a dozen or so shots on the operatives in turn. Luckily they all fall short. I’ve never seen such fancy evasive maneuvers in an old tin can like that transport—I’d like to take the pilot out for a drink of ‘Old Corellian someday. The rest of us are busy dogfighting with the Imperial Ace at this time.

The operatives were safely able cross the red line, and jump clear. About this time all the TIES which were chasing the transport spin around and womp rat all over Scorch. JEB exhausts his munitions payload and spectacularly blows up the Imperial Ace.
Unfortunately he catches Doublehooks in the blast, but we’re sending a bent Squint solar panel to the base mechanics to hang on their wall in payment of the constant astromech replacements Doublehooks has racked up.
Scorch has to bug out and jumps clear as well. Wizard holds off two TIE Fighters by himself, while JEB and Doublehooks mop up the main wolfpack. With the Alliance Ops recovered, we all jump back to base.
General, there must be something good in the Argus System with the show that the Imps put on for us tonight.
